tho the thing is chara story 3 is when they mention illuga notices the missing lightkeepers but aaa shshsh kids can say the darnest things type of situation LOL

i always did wonder what was the deciding factor for him to have a dedicated caregiver department aside from “feeling like he is doing the children a disservice” so in my head, maybe having “his” kid say something like “you’ll leave like the rest of them” like it’s normal maybe changed his mindset

there is a scene in illuga’s character story 2 where nikita decides the kids at piramida deserve better and i have such a vivid vision of him deciding to do so because of illuga offhandedly asking if nikita will leave too (like his parents or the lightkeeper uncles and aunties who died fighting)

mmm actually i am not that satisfied but tbf i did doodle this before the anecdote came out and by then the preplanning stage was too far gone,,,but that's okay!! learned a lot doing this one (abuse of textures and more sparkle sparkle!!!) so we take what we learned to do better next time >O!!!
