How much of a #running nerd am I? 🏃🏻🙌Well I read Jack Daniels (first edition!) “Running Formula” book cover to cover when I was 15 years old (like 24 years ago!). Started doing periodized training ever since then, read Canova threshold threads, & got Coe’s and Pfitzinger’s books as a teen

I think a lot of people think that Elon Musk co-founded (or founded) Tesla. He is NOT the founder. He basically bought his way in years later (Tesla Motors). He also doesn't even have a BS degree in Physics (he somehow only got a BA!) Like Trump, he came from extreme privilege💰

Some people on Instagram threads: “Is Treadmill running even ‘real running’?!” 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Sure we usually incline up about 1% to compensate for the lack for air resistance at the same pace…

…but like tell me don’t understand Physics without telling me you don’t understand Physics 😂!

For the vast majority of distance runners the big key to improvement in race times and fitness performance is this: Run More! (As in higher, consistent weekly mileage totals. Mostly adding in “Easy Paced, Zone 2” mileage)
*One caveat: You can’t get hurt, sacrifice sleep and/or speedwork!
