One thing I keep learning as a writer: always respect your audience. Trust them to feel your characters’ thoughts and decisions through subtext—show it, don’t tell.

In the past few weeks, I’ve written over 20,000 words, all with that in mind.

Congrats on being published! As someone who is working on my first Novel, it’s always encouraging to meet others who have the same passion.

This is a delicate balance, one that applies to any creative process. Whether I am creating art or writing a novel, it's about knowing how to care for the work just enough to nurture it and pour a bit of yourself into it, while also allowing it the freedom to evolve and become something of its own.

I've seen videos on how "plotting kills creativity," but every writer's process is unique. There's no one-size-fits-all approach. Just beware of over-planning—it can lead to procrastination or resisting necessary changes when your story or characters demand it.
