Okay, I was given access to a playtest. With this access I was also given 2 friend codes. But here's the problem. When starting the game, I was shown a NDA notice that asked me to not share anything related to the game, which I accepted. So, you know. 🙃

Can't say I'm surprised. I've never used AI for my coding shenanigans. I much rather go out in the wild and find people like yourself who share their knowledge.

It might work with others, but you can't shame me into compliance with things I didn't say. If you want to have a honest conversation about this issue and possible solutions, I'm all for it. If not, good luck on your journey.

Tech being available is one thing. Having the funds to pay for it is something else. Especially when numbers grow and people expect HD content and other features.

I always think of the saying "respect the dead" when I see things like this. I'm usually more selective with my words, but you have to be a special kind of sick fuck to use a dead mans likeness to further whatever agenda you have.

As it stands, you wont find a better search engine, paid or otherwise. The fact is, Kagi Search and Translate has more useful features than I have characters to describe them in one post. Well worth the cost of entry.

Well, they already asked for a backdoor into Signal and got all kinds of upset when told no. So, I'm sure we'll see this in a not to distant future.

Clear in this context are titles and preambles that tells me out the gate if it's a game or release date announcement. If it says release date I scan the press release for store, price, and so on. If it says game announcement I scan the press relese for trailer, presskit, and so on.

I can't answer for others, but I visit GamesPress daily to find game and release date announcements. I especially like press releases with clear titles and preambles. I rarely bother with on-site media and always find what I need via clickable links.

It's not always the case, but sometimes there's less obvious and legal reasons for something to be pushed out the door. In cases like that, negative reviews can be the lesser of two evils.

My response was in regards to their claims about all European stores selling Steam credits and accepting cash, which is not true.

The town I live in don't sell Steam credits, and even if they did, we're all card and phone based. That's true for most part of the country. Hell, some bus routes only accept payment via their phone app.

Indeed. We decided to voice the tutorial in Xenopurge, and even though that added quite a lot to the game, it's the one-liners and screams during missions that turns everything up to 11.

Quite amazing how we don't have better solutions for it all in 2025. Especially with streaming having been a thing since 2013.

You can create an aged TV-like voice with an EQ and a compressor. Set your EQ "low cut/hi pass" at 300Hz and "hi cut/low pass" at 4000Hz and adjust to taste. For compression, take a look at Retro Sta-Level by Kazrog. It's a VST plugin that is based on a broadcast compressor from the mid 50s.

I'm relieved to see that the MPDI-4 by Undertone Audio is sold out. That way I don't have to feel bad about spending $3795.
