If you fear insects, don’t think it’s not an issue bcuz you can just eliminate the trigger. Instead, I encourage you to think about the costs of using insecticide and pesticide. Engaging in exposure therapy to eliminate what’s underlying your fear is a much better option for you & the environment.

Looking for a few people living in Australia who have a lived experience of climate anxiety and who would like to get involved in a consumer advisory board for research on the topic. If this is you, please message me and I can tell you more to see if the opportunity is a good match.

America’s Violent Health System An unknown assailant killed the UnitedHealth CEO in broad daylightβ€”and the majority of people watching laughed. Why?

Last year UnitedHealth fired its intake team & used AI to process claims. The AI rejected more than 90% of claims for senior citizens, resulting in several preventable deaths.

My thoughts on American healthcare after the killing of the UnitedHealth CEO

Most folks don’t realize this, but a single pound of beef is responsible for about 100 pounds of greenhouse gas pollution.

That’s 50x worse than coal, on pound for pound basis.

I'm grateful for a lot of things. But not Thanksgiving. The holiday masks an unsavory reality. But "Un-Thanksgiving" offers something more satisfying.

I’d say 50% dropout from the treatment arm (compared to 10% in waitlist) doesn’t scream feasible. I might have missed it, but it doesn’t seem like the inclusion criteria included enjoying music and its production.

You could talk about burnout and highlight how trying to tackle everything tires one out. Perhaps try to encourage them to focus on one thing that seems manageable to make a difference, as numerous people tackling small issues can add up.
