@laurakbuzz.bsky.social I feel like whoever is responsible for this is trying to make you take a last minute trip to Japan.

We now cross over to BBC Radio Derby.
Sorry I missed your call, the frogs had my phone again.
At the very least, Companies House has both "seperate" companies as sharing an active director, so if the stuff the new company is saying amount to nothing, there's a genuine link between them. (As well as the new company having a director shared with the old one who was present for a single day)
The days of "not voting for labour and the tories is throwing your vote away" are over, and we need to make sure the left understands this as well as the right.
Sorry to hear about a company not being legally required to Pay you Laura. I know Nerdcubed has been fucked over in the same way, and hearing even small bits about it from him has been upsetting, and I imagine this is an absolute nightmare for you too.
We used to be a proper country
Nicolas Cage used a recent awards speech to condemn AI in art forms:
"Robots cannot reflect the human condition for us... all integrity, purity and truth of art will be replaced by financial interests only... it will be life as robots tell us to know it."

A parachutist in the Netherlands missed the target sports field and landed in the monkey enclosure at the local zoo. The director of the zoo remarked: "he got lucky, a hundred meters further and he'd have landed amidst the lions". Everyone involved, human or not, was OK.
Itโs embarrassing for a rich person to spend millions of dollars on trying to extend their life through science when that money could be better spent on hunting for a fabled amulet that grants immortality
They should make a TV show that comes out every year, has 22 episodes, and isn't a long movie split into episodes. That would be pretty revolutionary I think
It was really good! My brain just stopped working almost immediately after launch.
The next Guild Wars 2 story patch drops tomorrow, which means I should really get around to finishing the stuff that dropped with Janthir Wilds release.
I always call myself an optimist nihilist with similar reasoning. If everything is pointless and nothing we do matters, we may as well enjoy it right?
This does mean that Iโm optimising the hell out of the three days in the demo, and I WILL beat the optional dungeon.
Iโm waiting until the steam autumn sale to buy Metaphor Refantazio, I donโt actually expect it to be on sale, but the only way for me to guarantee it is would be buying it now.
Oh I read this wrong at first, so it was just a Japanese game that Europeans couldnโt get their hands on? I imagine youโd not even have the context that it flopped at the time, and it would just seem like this weird, unplayable RPG?
REALLY want to watch the new series of Arcane, but I need to re-watch the first series of Arcane before I do...
me when I locate a yummy treat
i think it's pretty cool that birds are dinosaurs
So I watched The Boy and the Heron, the colours were bright and the art was pretty. My brain is too spicy for me to have paid attention to more than that unfortunately, so really looking forward to watching it again when it cools down.
Good Morning Gamers. It's week two of raw dogging ADHD for the first time in 2 years. How will today go? Will I spend more than 15 minutes on one thing at a time? Probably not!
some people assume they can't be gotten by the fae inside cages of iron and atop roads of steel, but that's not true. Please tell the MTA or NYPD's Department of Esoteric Enforcement if this has happened to you
I am hungover after a night spent drinking with friends that I've not seen in too long. One of those hangovers that feel SO worth it.
Given today is a hangover day, I think I'll finally be watching The Boy and the Heron while curled up on the sofa. One of the few #ghibli movies I haven't seen.
