08.11.2025 16:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0What was the injury to Sesko Kev?
08.11.2025 14:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I have an incredibly elaborate plan for eradicating time-wasting, but the easy bit is to put a board at the side of the pitch and have the 4th official add extra time during the game so everyone can see it accumulate.
30.10.2025 13:09 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's all about driving storylines. It's football as soap opera.
27.09.2025 13:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sky Sports had a convoluted list of stats negging United's victories too. Did you guys feed the same prompt into your LLMs? "You're a wannabe soap opera story editor hack. You'll be fired if you don't find stats for a tweet about how whatever Man United just did was the worst thing in the world."
20.09.2025 22:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Think Amorim deserves credit for his tactical adjustment at half-time. Ugarte anchoring the midfield, with Amad (and then Mount) to the right of him and Bruno to the left, brought real solidity to the team. Not sure about taking Maguire off, set pieces and crosses were always going to be dangerous.
20.09.2025 18:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think he's been unsettled by the signing of Mbeumo. He must have seen himself as first choice in the left-sided ten position by the end of last season. Lots being asked of him tactically too, covering 3 positions. Definitely having a tough time of it, but he's got so much quality.
20.09.2025 18:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Second yellow cards should be checked by VAR. Not a fan of VAR, by any means, but surely if the ref sees that tackle again he'd overturn his decision. Casemiro has been so unlucky with referees in his time with united.
20.09.2025 17:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Robbed today to be fair.

01.09.2025 17:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't know, I reckon if one of these teams was Man United, Gary Neville would have found seventeen different ways to complain about the lack of quality on display.
31.08.2025 17:01 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I don't usually watch Sky coverage of football outside of live matches, but Sky Sports News had pundits talking after the win today, claimed (lied) that Amorim said he hated his job, described him as "cowering" in the dugout and described Bruno celebrating today as "embarrassing". Incredible stuff.
30.08.2025 18:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Not a goalkeeping error but keep going.
30.08.2025 15:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Do those who work down the football content mines ever worry about what will happen to their industry if Man United don't manage to overcome the damage inflicted on the club by the Glazers? If this "story" is anything to go by, it might be time to check on the canary.
28.08.2025 20:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Cunha controls the ball, Saliba kicks Cunha, should have been a penalty, what can you do?
18.08.2025 12:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's not remotely like that though. It's a clear foul, Cunha gets to the ball first, Saliba is late and kicks through the back of him. It's not really that complicated.
18.08.2025 12:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0United do have clear issues that need addressing, they have done for years. INEOS have started addressing them, and encouragingly that's how United were able to dominate the game yesterday. A result would have been great (and deserved) but the performance is all you can control, and it was good.
18.08.2025 12:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 3 π 0Saliba kicks Cunha's feet out from under him, it's a clear foul, much more obvious than the obstruction on Bayindir. You don't get what you deserve in football, you get what you take, but United deserved more yesterday.
18.08.2025 12:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I'm not sure I understand what you mean by re-litigate? Should people not talk about football?
18.08.2025 12:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ah yes, gently cupping his arm, such a tender moment! Saw an arsenal fan online arguing that Saliba didn't kick Cunha's feet for the blatant penalty that somehow wasn't given, he just placed his foot on Cunha's foot! Bayindir could have been stronger, Saliba also fouled him, them's the breaks.
18.08.2025 11:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I'm not relitigating, or saying take away the goal, although Saliba could have been pinged for obstructing Bayindir/pulling his arm, while also trying to rob the jersey off Mount's back. I just said United were better than Arsenal yesterday, and some Arsenal fans brains broke?
18.08.2025 11:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Clear chance, big chances, it's all semantics. Calafiori's header from the goal had an xG of 0.6, which both skews averages and demonstrates that using your eyes still trumps using your Opta when it comes to judging the balance of play in football.
18.08.2025 11:10 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0The only point I'm making is that United were the better team yesterday, dominated the game and didn't deserve to lose on the balance of play. This against the team that finished 2nd last year and spent Β£200 million this summer to push for the title. Which was promising.
18.08.2025 11:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0From watching the game Ray.
18.08.2025 10:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Ah but that's just it: football isn't all about results! If the result was all that mattered, nobody would waste time going the games, Sky wouldn't bother sending cameras to the games, and we'd all just wait for the final score to appear in a cell on a spreadsheet. O jogo bonito!
18.08.2025 08:19 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Into your brain? All of them, I presume, through your eyes, but there are none so blind as those who do not want to see. You don't win by being the better team, you win by scoring more goals, which Arsenal did, so Arsenal won. But United were the better team. You can still be happy with the 3 pts.
17.08.2025 22:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0United had 75% possession in the first ten minutes today, and Arsenal completed 9 passes in that time. (The score was 0-0 in this period). In total, United had 22 shots at goal, the first time they've done that to arsenal in the Premier League since 2011 (altho I do 8-2 bring that up).
17.08.2025 21:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Cunha didn't catch hold of his shot after running through Arsenal from his own half, but that was a clear chance, and Mbeumo's volley, if it was a foot to the right, no keeper would be getting to. Arsenal get 3 points, that's all they care about, doesn't matter United were the better team.
17.08.2025 19:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Which one, the penalty that wasn't given? The one that hit the post? The save from Cunha was world class so you can't mean that one. No keeper was getting to Dorgu's shot that hit the post. Mbeumo's header was a classic effort down into the turf, too close Raya but a clear cut chance.
17.08.2025 19:53 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Well, Arsenal finished 2nd last year, and then spent Β£200 million improving their squad, and United dominated them. Possession, shots, xG. Teams can't control results, only performances. And that United performance was, by any metric, good enough to have won the game. So yes, Amorim is correct.
