Cheers John, lucky this one was actively nest building rather than feeding otherwise I’m the same hear a few without sightings.

Seeing the Zitting Cisticola reported and not having time to go view reminded me I had taken a few photos of one collecting nesting material in Tigaki wetlands back in May #birds

They’re the ones in the pics mate, too lazy to put (pic) as I sometimes do. Haha

This Grasshopper Warbler popped up 15ft in front of me when sitting scoping for raptors around Ystradfellte, don’t know who was more surprised me or the bird. #birds

2 Marsh Tit*, 6 Spotted Flycatchers*, 4 Willow Tit, Tree Pipits*, Redstarts, Hobbies, 2 Green sand over, distant Osprey and usual other woodland birds seen on a walk through the forestry surrounding Usk res area. #birdingwales #birds

Came across 2 Hobbies(pic) hunting in Glasfynydd forestry also Sparrowhawk(pic) with dinner. Several Red Kites and Buzzards circling around and a Peregrine flyby with young in tow calling.
