Cats are such contortionists! I wanted to play with complementary color contrast here to make the orange cat fur POP. Had a ton of fun painting this! It's called "Shrimp Cat."

Organic pink, purple, and orange shapes undulating out from a blue center in the lower left. For many vanguard artists in the early twentieth century, music offered a model for expressing nonverbal emotional states and sensations. Georgia O'Keeffe was fascinated with what she called "the idea that music could be translated into something for the eye," but her references to music in the titles of her paintings derived equally from her belief that visual art, like music, could convey powerful emotions independent of representational subject matter. In Music, Pink and Blue II, the swelling, undulating forms imply a connection between the visual and the aural, while also suggesting the rhythms and harmonies that O’Keeffe perceived in nature.

Drawing of my character Vio. She is a tall, fairly muscular femme presenting character with grey skin and long red hair and red eyes. She has horns in a darker grey that curl over her head, making a sharp and spike looking shape. Her tail is grey with some red fur on it, looking like a dragons tail. Just above her chest, she has a glowing sigil visible. There are claw marks scars over her chest as well. She wears a sleeveless top with a deep v neck and a choker as well as a long skirt/belt? That hangs down to her ankles in front of her from the waist, but is slit on either side, leaving her legs still visible. Her clothes are mostly black. She seems to be wearing shorts under them an thigh high armored boots. She has a paldron on her left shoulder that’s black and covered in small spikes. There is a sword belted to her hips with red string/rope. She is pulling it out of the scabbard with one hand. She’s wearing gauntlets. Her expression is mildly annoyed.
