I still wouldn’t take it to heart, and please don’t give up on sharing artwork with others there!
Just remember that there’s all sorts of artists with lots of quirky personalities. You’ll run across someone that you may “offend or bother”, and it will be just because of their own temperaments.

Another thing, too, is that some artists are 𝙣𝙤𝙩 willing to do a ton of detail or rendering work for something that’s absolutely free, and your requests could have come off as requesting a great deal of their effort for little to no return.

I see what you mean, but I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

I feel that the “let me know if you need changes” offer could mean for things like adjusting a character’s skin tone (like for POC, etc), or a character’s body shape.
