Reporting that I'll be at Chicago for Salmon Run LAN Tourney (Chi Shoals 35 @ SquidWest)!

I hope I'll be able to meet everyone attending there and have a great time!

Please don't assume it's because I've seen negative SR coaching sessions before, in which it demoralize a person to quit or not fight back with new ideas. Whether it's genuine critical feedback or a coach's lack of reciprocating ideas, it's not the main topic or counter.

I'm planning on drafting a thread on how I approach my coaching sessions. It does have flaws since it's based on my own thought process and experiences communicating wth a variety of players. Regardless, it might shred some light of things happening backstage.

Excuse my rambling! But I hope I can clean things up better in the backstage again at a faster rate!

I would like to look into tourney setup and prizes if things goes smoothly.

If I can finish all this in between my job in time, I would love to present it with my SR friends in Splatoon LAN (Low Tide City / Riptide / Rising Squid Lan) and talk IRL.

Just another method of community beyond Discord / Twitter would be amazing as a next step!

I do have ideas I'm trying to code test on a website. Mainly sorting video footages by schedules. But I would like to keep track of the documentaries/tips into one area. It's mainly personal use but I would like to reformat it for general browse use. It's a bit hard though for a big vision!

I drafted a couple of my SR commentary videos (5+) back in 2022 but I realized players have a variety of attention span and interest. It looks like I'll have to do 2 formats (creative:info dump) to appeal to both friend audiences of mine.

I talked with others about high interest for a SR LAN in 2023. I would like to pitch in and help!

I read LAN setup documents but my only backstage SR tourney experience is SOP4 (JP Overfishing draft tourney), it might be hard to introduce myself.

Would my pitch be enough or should I ask for help?

I would be willing to start my own SR interview with other players I have in mind
I do have interview draft questions on hand, especially if they would like to talk about their Nintendo Live 2024 experience afterwards (sending them good luck!)

First of all, I'm getting close to finishing my Stinger Day (11.1) doodle and collage!

Probably need to spurce up my 3 Splatoon OCs for easier ref when I want to pay personal commissions later.

After the concert, I'll be checking the Art Market local fair on Saturday and check the Tower of Americas. Going to be fun taking the train home~

Going to do a recap and big plans that I hope that I can complete in 2023 and 2024 so bear with me!
