After a decade of stale turn-based tactics, Menace is a breath of fresh air The Battle Brothers makers have done it again, this time with a platoon-scale wargame.

Listen up nerds, MENACE is good. It's like if you smashed modern XCOM or Jagged Alliance into the idea of Advanced Squad Leader in the most successful way.

The only thing I really remember about that show is that it's set in the past, actually. I remember the scene where they find Optimus Prime unconscious in his ship.

I watched Beast Machines more, but that was a weirder show

Terra Invicta Review Saving the world grand strategy-style.

Terra Invicta is a mind-boggling tangle of a grand strategy game about saving the world from an alien invasion that tries to do way too many things, but does a few of them so well that I had to pry myself away from it with a crowbar. My review:
