Kicking off WETSCAPES 2.0! This week marked the start of the first @dfg.de collaborative research center dedicated to researching rewetted fens. Over 50 scientists discussed the 100 screening sites, 5 core sites, and 2 landscape-level experiments. And we installed the first of our 1,000 sensors!

Stein meant a lot to me as he introduced me to kelp forest ecology and was extremely supportive in my early career. He's gone way too soon, but has left a lasting imprint on science and so many peoples lives.
