🔵 Unlike Texas, the special election on Nov. 4th would allow VOTERS, not the Congressional leaders, to decide to allow state legislators to redistrict the state.
🔵 Mail drops will arrive starting Oct. 6th.

Some key points to note about the special election on Nov. 4th and why it's important to vote YES.
🔵 If passed, 80% of California voters would NOT be affected by the redistricting
🔵 If passed, the redistricting would be TEMPORARY, and would expire in 2030 when the new census takes place.

He explained what it means to redistrict and what districts would be targeted to help potentially gain 5 seats for Democrats.

Rep. Jimmy Panetta held a special meeting in Atascadero on Friday 8/22 to discuss California's Election Rigging Response Act, or Proposition 50, as an effort to fight against Texas' gerrymandering of their districts to gain 5 Republican seats in Congress.

Heads up! Another protest this Saturday in downtown Paso Robles, organized by Paso Robles Democratic Club. This is a NATIONAL day of action so don’t miss out and let’s see your amazing signs!

Their claim to be just deporting law-breakers has been shown to be completely false as they have taken people en-masse, including people showing up for their immigration hearings and work, as well as college students and children still in school.

The SLO County Democratic Party and Indivisible SLO County have rented two buses to attend the La Marcha de la Puebla rally at Santa Maria City Hall (110 E. Cook St.). Buses will leave from Atascadero and Los Osos at 10:30 a.m., meet up in SLO, and caravan to the noon rally. 1/2
