Sometimes, when I'm deep in the pain of my period, I just want to cuddle up to my husband and be comforted. But I don't, because I start to feel bad that he's not going to 'get anything out of it'. And that's how deep the patriarchal lessons of male entitlement have rooted in my psyche.

I have to say... Finally having a cool, rainy day has made me so happy that I'm sad the day is almost over..

When I saw the ICE statement, I was like... Wow. They were so quick in fabricating a story to fit their narrative.
