If you say so. Have a good day.

Yes I have. You don't have to agree with me, but there is no need to personally attack me. We can just end it here now and agree to disagree.
I'm sorry you feel a disconnect from a team you have followed for 40 years. I hope you get it again, and sooner than later. Have an amazing day.

The game is won on how many times you put the ball in the back of the net compared to your opponents. So, I'm not saying the others did not play a part. But it was Salah either scoring or assisting.

So, are you saying we should have kept Kostas as well?
We should have kept Nunez because of Jota and the tragedy and so we just continue with Nunez who wasn't at all able to produce results last season?
We should have kept Diaz who made it clear he wanted a move away?

09.10.2025 10:34 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

The sheer numbers prove it. The fact that when he hit his dip, we lost to PSG and Carabao cup final. Drew Everton and Aston Villa.
The need to not depend on Salah lessened because we were out of all competitions and the league was almost wrapped by Mid March.

But Milos has also had games where he has been very good. Again that's the point. If Robbo getting flak for couple games is wrong, surely applied for Milos too? He will learn. How long do you think the same players play for us? We need new legs, new ideas. It's a new manager.

09.10.2025 10:28 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

It's been 10 games. Look at the way Szobozslai has transformed over the seasons. We don't need to panic so much just because it was a team that won the league. It was a team that Salah carried. And teams have improved. Arsenal have improved. City and Chelsea have injuries, but it's a long season

09.10.2025 10:25 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

It's just been one window. Did you never think in the years before when we did not buy enough? Or we sold to buy players? That's the point I'm trying to make. Because it is not what Kloppo would have done, it feels wrong. But we need to move forward. Klopp made his choice and we have to respect it.

I'm not saying he's not better than Kerkez, bt age has caught up with him. He's not as quick. The way he sees game, miles better than Kerkez, but actually running up and down the wing, he's slowing down.

09.10.2025 10:22 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

As for the midfield, again Wirtz is here because of the loss of creativity due to Trent's departure. How do you replace someone like Trent?
And so, since Wirtz needs to play, we need to adjust and adapt again.
You cannot possibly think that we win more with essentially the same squad as last year?

09.10.2025 10:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

We did not have an issue scoring goals but it was all Salah. And when Sallah couldn't do it, we lost or drew.
Fullbacks - Connor was already here, Frimpong is also a good option, he needs time to adapt
Kerkez - Robbo's legs are going and Kostas was a good deputy but never a starter.

09.10.2025 10:18 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Arne did not trust Quansah, Leoni was his replacement. If we got Guehi, maybe we see Gomez leave, or we have 5 CBs in the season.
It's okay for Arne to not trust and/or like the players that Klopp did.
Broke my heart when Harvey left, but it's the best option for both sides imo

09.10.2025 10:14 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

absolutely outperform the Klopp team of last year, and the years before, it seems like why did Arne have to change the team so much.
It almost feels like the last of Kloppo's legacy being taken down, in absolute terms. The team, the players, the kids who won for us.

09.10.2025 10:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

But essentially that is the point I'm making. Because Arne is rebuilding from a squad that won the PL, and Klopp built a struggling Liverpool, the reactions are different. Klopp walked away, he wasn't fired. Maybe there is a bit of Kloppo hangover in the fanbase, and unless we see the new team...

09.10.2025 10:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

But doesn't Arne also deserve the chance to build the team, the way we trusted Klopp to build this team. Just because Arne had a team capable of winning the league, doesn't mean that no change was warranted? It may be too much too soon, but why not give them time to become a team?

09.10.2025 09:18 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

For me, based on what I saw from Arne last season, I wanted him to have a squad that he won't be hesitate to use. And that meant we let go of some players that we would rather have kept.
Quansah thing look worse now because of Leoni injury maybe? I think if Leoni is available, Konate gets benched?

09.10.2025 09:16 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Quansah and Elliot - I feel it was more of a both side thing, Arne did not want to play them, and they needed playing time for their development.
With Diaz I think he wanted the move away from Liverpool for two years? Maybe we could have, maybe nothing we did would have mattered. I'm not sure.

09.10.2025 09:14 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Maybe it's because of the way Klopp earned his faith vs Slot.
Kloppo had to rebuild the squad and then he delivered.
Slot inherited the team, won the game, is now starting the rebuild in his vision, but what Klopp's team could do is still fresh because it just happened a couple months ago๐Ÿ˜…

09.10.2025 08:22 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

So true. I think these things and I'm like, there's no way I'm the only one who's thought this. And then I come here, and post it. And kind people like yourself reassure me that I'm not insane to apply a bit of logic and look at the bigger picture ๐Ÿ™ˆ
Thank you so much ๐Ÿ˜…

09.10.2025 08:19 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

the starting line up, which is also a problem for Slot because he himself has recognised and acknowledged that he maybe relied too much on a core of players last season, and doesn't want to do the same thing this year. So, there are just a lot of moving parts in unlocking the potential of this team.

09.10.2025 08:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

of playing with Trent and now he has to adapt to a new fullback every single game.
With Isak - it's his fitness probably, maybe he's being asked to not push himself too much, and Hugo is also very different from Isak, he's more Bobby-esque forward.
This team needs time and continuity in...

09.10.2025 08:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

With the RBs - I think the problem is Connor's availability, and Frimpong being more of a winger/fullback hybrid, so they both need to improve those aspects, and Szobo in the meantime provides stability. But we need him more in the MF
But all that gets Salah out of the game, because 7-8 years...

09.10.2025 08:17 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Palace we played 4-2-2-2 in the first half, which I think is not the best place to try something new. We lost those games in the league the same way we won the first five. If we could do it to others, it can happen to us. We were chasing the games and we lost, we were leading the games and we won.

09.10.2025 07:20 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Yeah totally agree. The problems with the team are different, but the reaction of the loudest on socials is too harsh towards the new manager, and even some players. That's what I have been thinking about ๐Ÿ˜‡

09.10.2025 07:09 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 1    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

So, I hope we can extend a similar grace and give our manager and this team and the players in it, time, patience and our unwavering support. We have things to figure out, and we will do it.

What do you guys think? Does this make sense or am I just being too blinded by Arne's PL win last season?

09.10.2025 04:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 2    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Don't get me wrong, he is absolutely a legend and revolutionized the team and one of the most successful and important managers of our club. But nostalgia makes us forget the tough times we had with Kloppo as well. But the times before Kloppo were so much darker, that he was given more grace.

09.10.2025 04:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 2    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Almost as if players need time to adapt? Anyway, my point is we have a past of recent success, and that is why the sentiment of the fanbase seems reactionary, because the success of Klopp is not too far away in our history, and the glasses have become rose tinted with what Kloppo did with this team.

09.10.2025 04:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

When we got Szobo in 2023, I'm sure some of us would have thought that he wasn't worth the price right? But the Szobo of that season, is different from the Szobo of last season, and is different from the Szobo of this season. But apparently Wirtz is a flop after 10 games according to our own fans.

09.10.2025 04:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

History rewritten, everything forgotten because the expectations in our heads did not materialize on the pitch. But it wasn't a problem when we were winning, it only became a problem when we lost. When we got our new midfield, we were still competitive in 2023/24 season

09.10.2025 04:46 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 1    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

Then comes the week of hell, 3 losses in a row. All of a sudden, the manager only won because of Klopp, we haven't played great in 2025 at all, Salah should have been sold, Darwin and Diaz shouldn't have been sold because they did more off the ball. Because we have a successful history with them.
