This month has really been about trying to balance my health with my lifelong urge to do good in this world and it's been really difficult. It feels like my body's needs have greatly increased as my need to respond to injustice has, and I don't have the resources to do both.

Content note: discussion of death

My grandmother died yesterday. I came from out of town to help my family since she couldn't be left alone. 3 hours later she was gone, so I went back home. She died at home with family around, which is what she wanted. Thoughts still jumbled but I'm going to be ok.
