A great read on how we can actually finally regulate tech and move away from the US government’s blackmail grip over global tech markets that are currently forced to favour US tech bros.

Israel has a habit of doing this to humanitarians and human rights activists. I will never forget what they did to Rachel Corrie.

Some years, muscadel faces down frost; green thrives; the crops don't fail, sometimes a man aims high, and all goes well. A people sometimes will step back from war; elect an honest man; decide they care enough, that they can't leave a stranger poor. Some men become what they were born for. Sometimes our best efforts do not go amiss; sometimes we do as we meant to. The sun will sometimes melt a field of sorrow that seemed hard frozen: may it happen for you. A little joyful one today, I think given the news from Canada.

"What Ceasefire? Trump Helps Netanyahu Kill Over 400 Palestinians in Gaza"
For Zeteo, @attackerman.bsky.social lays out how the Trump administration backs war against Palestine abroad and repression against supporters of Palestine at home.
Meanwhile over on the other place, rightwing free speech warriors (this guy is a former DeSantis campaign staffer) are calling for me to be denaturalized and deported because they don’t like my political speech. This is what fascism and racism looks like, folks.

Chuck Schumer suggests it is antisemitic to say what Israel is doing in Gaza is a genocide. Yet some of Israel’s own top scholars of genocide and the Holocaust, all of them Jewish - Omer Bartov, Amos Goldberg, Daniel Blatman - say it is a genocide in Gaza.
Does Schumer consider them antisemite too?
So true. This app lets us be human again.
