I think some of the position player stagnation actually begins in the minors, particularly once the prospects reach AA/AAA. I think something is off from a developmental/analytic POV. Too much emphasis on power, leading to one outcome hitters. Low BA, high Ks, ok HR totals. It’s not sustainable.

The Yankees offense is like Thibs continuously running drop coverage or playing an 8 man rotation all season or ISO Brunson.

It's fine for 162 games, but terrible elsewhere. Truth be told, the Yankees offense wasn't even a 162 game offense.

Until Cashman wakes up, nothing will change.
