I grt the intention of this post, but I also think that crypto company is a bit too broad label. There can be good and bad intentions behind any company, crypto or non-ctypto.

So many ppl who have no time to train or even be with their dogs…

Society needs a dog-pass that is only granted for selected individuals. Dog is a privilege, not a right.

The job of engineers is not to deploy some technology but to build robust, reliable and sustainable (in all meanings of that word) solutions for real world problems based on requirements directly derived from people's needs. Even for an engineer technology comes second at best.

Proc-gen maps in my game. Dynamically generated upon entering, so the generation can adjust to world events and such. Working on that next...

Going besides the main point, but generally I feel that most people who actually ship effectively games don’t really feel the need to attend most (if any) gaming related events. People who want meetings seek them. People who want to finish games seek some other aspects.
