Nothing makes an introvert like me panic faster than locking eyes with a vacation salesperson and realizing there’s no graceful escape.

Maybe it all happened when it was supposed to—but still, I can’t help wishing I’d longed for motherhood sooner. It’s the most beautiful, soul-filling role I’ve ever had.

I cannot stress this strongly enough: Support your local theatre, café, bookstore, bakery, and library. We breathe life into these places when we support them. They need us, and more importantly, we need them.
