07.05.2025 18:17 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This can be an intimidating looking pattern, but the instructions are so clear, w lots of video how toβs to avoid any confusion that anyone who had done colorwork or cables can do this. Itβs a very enjoyable knit. Heck out the projects on Ravelry. So many unique interpretations!
07.05.2025 15:03 β π 2 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0A slender female is wearing an olive green cardigan with a mandarin collar. The cardigan has a warm neutral undyed wool creating a forest motif along the bottom with cables, as well as edging around the cardigan and buttton loops. Four green applique leaves are paired around each of three button closures, accented in the neutral yarn. Bracer like cables line the lower sleeves, which as also accented with applique leaves. The cardigan is tunic length.

06.05.2025 13:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Shown is a close up of a knitted sweater, featuring the lower half of a sleeve and the lower half of the sweater next to it. Neutral brown yarn is worked into cables and tree trunks, a brown forest against the dark olive green background of the sweater. On the sleeve, a bracer has been created in the same neutral yarn, completed with a cable that runs down the inner arm. Green appliquΓ© leaves accent the bracer, outlined in the neutral yarn.
This is my favorite photo of the Forests of Arda Cardigan.
The goal was to design an Elven coat that was functional and warmβechoes of Legolas in the bracers. Something that, when put on, made me feel *just a little bit* like I was stepping into Middle Earth. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
One of my favorite Ithilien projects!

18.03.2025 15:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Three cowls are stacked, each slightly offset. On the top is a tulip themeβdark pink and light pink tulips with green stems against a blue sky. Underneath is green cowl with a reindeer motif. The ribbing is in gray and bright red. On the bottom is a green forest motif with brownish-gray trees. All motifs are created with cables and stranded colorwork.
Before the FOA Cowl, I didnβt knit accessoriesβsweaters all the way. But cowls are a great palette for motifsβ& pretty cozy in brisk wind! Some insisted they needed to be sweaters, too. π€£π So, Iβm over here on the eve of the Fosteriana (π·) release casting on the cardigan version. π€ͺ #showmeyourknits

14.03.2025 12:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A colorwork swatch is shown. The background is light blue. Three tulips have been knit, using colorwork cables to form their shape. The outlines are a dark, earthy pink. The shading in the tulips is knit in light pink, and the centers are ribbed.
Filmed a little tutorial today where I showed off my not so brilliant embroidery skills! π π€ͺ Hoping to release the Fosteriana Cowl next week on the first day of Spring. π· π§Ά #knitting

15.02.2025 18:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A woman is wearing a cowl of mustard yellow. On the cowl are cables that create a forest motif. The cables are silver. The woman has brown hair and is looking at the camera. Her nose and below are hidden by the cowl.
Weβre having a cold snap here. Lately, my daughter bursts inside, all red nosed and bright eyed. βMommy! Do you have a cowl I can wear? Itβs sooo cold.β Yes, sweetheart, I sure do. This sample has basically been claimed as her own. #knitsky
