Mara then grips his hips, thumbs pressed into his lower back as she sits down on him.

And she squeezes, a quiet groan escaping G'raha's throat at the pressure. His ears and tail flick lightly in response.

Mara then moves her hand towards the base of his tail, the pads of her fingers stroking slowly through the fur.

And G'raha startles suddenly, eyes wide, as if he wasn't expecting his own body's reaction to the touch.

"M— Mara..." he says, a blush creeping across his cheeks as he looks over his shoulder back to her. "You know, I'm... quite sensitive there."

Mara only smirks down at him, an almost mischievous glint in her eyes. "Are you really, now?"

Fingers wrap around his tail, teasingly squeezing him before she tugs at it.

Hips jerking in response, G'raha's eyes shut and ears flick at the sensation of Mara's blunt nails dragging through his fur. "I— ahh—" whatever words he is about to utter dies on his tongue.

And Mara leans forward, body pressed against his and stroking his tail. She presses her lips to the exposed skin on the back of his neck in a gentle kiss.

And with her other hand, she grips his other shoulder. "Don't worry, Raha. I've got you," she whispers to him as she continues to stroke his tail. G'raha's blush deepens and he lets out a breathless gasp, enjoying the attention. "I promised I'd make you feel good."

“I love you.” The Exarch, handing his soul vessel to Nao. He’s turning into crystal but his smile is serene as he looks down at her. She’s holding the soul vessel tightly, tears streaming down her cheeks but expression unknowable. “I promised myself, when we meet again I will tell you.” G’raha is back in her arms, in his old clothes and holding on to his vessel, happiness evident on his face. “But here you are, safe and hale. By my side.” G’raha in his new clothes as a scion, talking with Tataru. He looks embarassed but pleased as she motions to him excitedly, proud of her work on his new attire. “Yet the words won’t come. How could they?”

G’raha is laughing, throwing his head back. His smile is radiant. “You’re so beautiful I lose my voice.” “Like stained glass, reborn from the best parts of yourself.” All three versions of G’raha are there, but his ct self and the Exarch have their backs turned. Scion G’raha looks ahead, a sweet smile on his lips. “Shining and bright, leaving me to watch in silent reverence.” Nao looks at him, eyes wide and full of wonder, a blush on her cheeks.

“How could I burden you with unrequited feelings, or tie you down to someone you’ve already sacrificed so much for?” She imagines him rejecting her, or showing tenderness to her. She’s not sure which one hurts more. “I have nothing left to give but loss, fire, and blood.” Haurchefant’s grave, overlooking Ishgard. Herself, loosing consciousness as the forest around her is ravaged by flames. A younger version of herself, hands bloodied and limp before a pool of blood and a knife. “And you have seen enough of those for a lifetime.” The Exarch, crying and bloodied but smiling; it’s good to be awake.

Back to the present. She approaches him and he looks entirely too happy that she’s coming to him. “So let me gift you my silence instead.” Her smile, wide and true. “In the hopes it brings you peace.” She’s fallen into easy banter with him. He’s embarassed as Tataru proudly shows her handiwork, Nao teasing all the while.
