I know that this is literally the grief talking, but right now it genuinely feels like nothing I do is enough. No matter how many ARCs I read, I haven’t read fast enough. Truly all trans individuals in Kansas are totally screwed. They can no longer drive legally in the state either so it really is a tax on being trans in a way that I don’t think I’ve ever seen thus far.

The way I understand it yes you have to bring in proof of your identity and now your chosen gender will not be recognized in Kansas regardless of where in the process of transition you are. So a trans man would still need to bring in a birth certificate and have female on their real ID.

I don’t have much in the way of money or power, but I will always give all I have to help others. Even if all I have to give is a limited ability to donate or spread the word to others who can donate. No one should have to flee their home. It’s barbaric. Simply, utterly, barbaric.
