Steve didn't plan on being dragged to an all day metal fest, but he can never say no to the kids. Needless to say it's been a long day and Steve is standing at the back of his fourth set of the day. He exhausted.

The phone on her nightstand is ringing, and she reaches for it automatically.

“Hello?” She's still breathing heavily.

tears forming in her eyes.

“I'm not leaving you, Steve! I'm trying!” She shouts as the alarm gets louder and her movements get more frantic.

The alarm turns into a ringing, and the ringing wakes her up, out of breath and eyes damp when she sits up in her bed.

wrapping tightly around each one, trapping him on the floor. She tries to pull them off, but they don't budge. “You left me here, Robin. You're never going to get me back.”

An alarm sounds from outside the room, and panic surges through her veins as she fights to yank harder at the vines, angry

shoulder, getting him to stir and blink his one non-swollen eye open. “Steve! Are you okay?”

“No, Robin,” Steve croaks out. “I'm stuck. And you can't get me out of here.” He looks down at his feet, and Robin follows his gaze to see that he's covered in vines. They're all slithering over his legs,

enter the basic little break room as expected. Instead, she's in the Russian bunker, hundreds of floors below the mall. And there, lying on the ground at her feet is Steve, bruised and bloody and unmoving.

Robin drops to her knees next to him, a familiar fear gripping her.

“Steve!” She shakes his

actual demonstration. This cocky son of a bitch.

Robin rolls her eyes, which is a major step down from what she actually wants to do – reach over and fling some ice cream directly at his stupid face – and turns to head to the back room. But when she passes through the swinging door, she doesn't

coaching during downtime.

“Oh, yeah. What, for like three days?” he asks, sarcasm rolling off his tone in waves. “Come on. I'm telling you, you'll scoop more if you reach forward and pull 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 yourself.” He leans into the case and does the motion in the air with his scooper as if she needs an
