This was an absolute blast to work on <3

A faux cover for the book Demian by Hermann Hesse. Emil Sinclair, a blond man with glasses, leans against Max Demian and Frau Eva whose faces are shrouded in darkness. Wings emerge from Sinclair's back and a blue snake loosely coils around him as Frau Eva cards through the feathers on one wing and Demian rests a hand on Sinclairs neck, pulling him to them. Sinclair is illuminated by strong, warm light but transitions into shadow where he leans into the Demians.

Sometimes you just have to draw some fanart for a 100 year old book because it is just that insane.

Shoutout to the book Demian which I read to my roommate who got increasingly concerned the more of the story she heard.

I miss doing watercolor stuff. Really need to make something again... QvQ
