Absolut.

Weiter so Eugen.

Weiter so Eugen

As I said last week after the Caerphilly by-election, turnout and the Greens and Lib Dems not fighting each other is one way to stop the Reform contagion.

Fantastic result in Bromsgrove, congratulations to Sam Ammar and the local team!

Across the country, it’s the Liberal Democrats who are taking the fight to Reform and winning 💪

Yes, because Badenoch’s was a criminal offence carrying a custodial sentence, whereas Reeves’ was not.

Of course they have issues as has most of Europe with a dramatic rise of right wing parties. Merz is an abhorrent politician and the rise of the AFD is indeed very concerning but in a global context there are far more worrying trends that we should all be scared f. Context …

Goodwin is a relentless campaigner for Reform, not an academic. He hasn't published an academic article since 2022.

Yes Merz said “Germany is back” and he is an abhorrent politician. I don’t want to defend a nasty German government but I firmly believe that context matters and the article’s headline does not provide context nor does the free part.In fairness I did not read the rest as it is behind a paywall

Don't be fooled, Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk are playing you The message the hate engine transmits is simple: asylum seekers are not really people in need

Robinson, Musk and Badenoch are all part of an industry of grievance, a machine designed to spread hate which now operates across the British right – from respectable print outlets to wild-eyed online fascists

Keir Starmer tries to look tough - and exposes himself as a coward The government's immigration policy is in desperate need of a bold change in direction.

3 things Starmer could do instead of camps in old barracks that would actually WORK👇

1. Create safe, regulated routes to apply for asylum in the UK

2. Let asylum seekers WORK & support themselves

3. Fast track status for people from obviously unsafe countries

It’s utterly infuriating and tragic that
“Highly educated politicians” like Rachel Reeves seemingly cannot manage to adhere to simple housing rules whilst governing. Every few weeks a news story about another rule break undermining further trust in an already fragile system and doing untold damage

In addition, your reply is extremely patronising. I am fully aware that Zeteo’s bread and butter is American politics. That does not mean that the article headline in question is
not over the top. Nevertheless Mr Merz and his ruling government are abhorrent in their rhetoric and behaviour.

30.10.2025 08:16 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Maybe so but the point is that the American constitution has been sadly not fit for purpose to protect the US. I think the German one is a little bit more robust. On top Germany has massive issues getting recruits for their military. I just think in this case the article headline is clickbait.

Yes what the new German government is doing is truly despicable and abhorrent but I think Zeteo journalists should be more scared of “ the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave” where huge arsenals of Atomic weapons and firepower is being presided over by mentally unstable politicians.

Meanwhile the “Peacemaker” Trump is continuing to prosecute opponents in his own country whilst instructing his ministry of war to match nuclear testing with his most admired political adversaries Putin and Kim “the Rocket Man”. The Age of Stupid, violence and corruption is continuing to blossom….

Of course the real threat isn't Asylum Seekers in Dinghies.

It is the people who want to leave the ECHR and take away all your Rights.

Right to trial, right to healthcare, right to sick pay, right to holiday pay, right not be discriminated against.

They can make so much profit

Wow - those are quite phenomenal headlines given the details of the story.

Ahh look, he’s just a ‘nerdy’ guy. No harm done.

I think a lot of the British Media is owned by people who (behind the clean and pleasant) facade are part of the far right. If you look at Germany in the thirties you will find ample evidence of the same thing happening. Of course you tell the Billionaires to their face and they will cry and scream…
