Netflix and Anderson RE walked so Requiem could run, but people would have me hanged for that statement.

The Vendetta homage made me feel like Dante was just off the screen whooping with Cavaliere LMAO

There's a fun set piece that reminded me of one from Maze Runner: Scorch Trials. It also gives strong Advent Children vibes, Sephiroth and Cloud rubbing swords in a corner somewhere, which is funny because I was saying that about a promotional dmcn clip a few weeks ago lol

I'm steering away from spoilers, but on vibes, the RV section of the game feels like a subtle homage to the Anderson films with the apocalyptic setting they go with. The OST also reminds me a lot of the music in those films, specifically the last 3.

I think the story lost me on the last third unfortunately, but the entire package is just so good. Grace's VA is insanely good, I think I enjoyed her moments slightly more than Leon, and that's an incredible feat.

It's a cursed outfit. But I'm pretty sure he's not going to be in it long. It seems like that's the outfit he's wearing while frozen. We see him in something else later on during his encounter with Vergil. But it's still a lot of gray shit lol. I'm begging for a normal black turtleneck.

The even greater curse is somehow liking it, but I can't really defend it lol. But I'm also exhausted over discourse about it, because while it deserves criticism, most of it is shallow and in bad faith.
