Today is the fourth annual HIV Is Not A Crime Awareness Day. Started in 2022 by The Sero Project and The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation this day seeks to end HIV criminalization laws and to acknowledge the right that individuals living with HIV have to live lives of sexual abundance and autonomy.

A year ago today after three years that I still hold cherished menories from I was laid off by the NAACP. Things have not gone the way I thought and there has been great loss but I have also gained time freedom that I treasure. Thankful for my time there thankful the chapter closed.

Saturday February 28, 2026. A truly beautiful day to end the month. Realized it was the last day of Black History Month and I hadn't played "Optimistic" by Sounds of Blackness yet and I had to fix that and Apple Musoc ended up takin me on a wonderful 90s Gospel journey

In hindsight this makes sense because we know by 19 MLK's life was halfway over but on its face this makes me sad because who needs to be fully ordained and an Associate Pastor at 19 years old?! This makes me think how there were forces aging King even before he began his life risking work.
