I rewatched some Helluva Boss then an episode of Bob's Burgers over a glass of Bailey's

The Hunters by David Wragg. It features a white haired woman with an arm around a young girl, a crossbow in one hand and sabre in the other. Her eyes shift between the four figures behind them.

Surprisingly few fucks in this one, but still plenty to love. Wild west setting and half the book is a cart chase across the plains. And Wragg's usual eccentric characters, of whom Aki was my favourite this time.

It's half one but I've completed #Thirty30 and boy does it feel good. I wasn't sure I'd get beyond 20k considering I spent the first week of the month so ill I couldn't write! Was originally hoping to have this first draft done too but it's longer than I thought...

The first two books were great. But I feel this is really where things are hitting their stride, as well as Dresden. Like a lot. That man is going to be held together with duct tape if he keeps this shit up.

I'm firmly in the camp that minimum wage should allow anybody working full time to live comfortably. And also social safety nets so teens don't need to work for anything other than fun money. I'm fortunate enough I was never in that position but I know far too many people who were and still struggle

Don't know what I should make of him not putting his age in there anywhere. Either he just didn't think to or he's embarrassingly old to have being acting like that. Stupid at any age don't get me wrong but the older you are the more embarrassing this story reads...

More One Piece! Think I've watched 50-60 episodes since Saturday

I've only seen the first episode of season 2 but my biggest issues with S1 were resolved as I listened to the soundtrack and realised that it was the opening act and introducing the scene, not rushing through a story for fear it would be cut short

I've been so very unwell I've ploughed through over forty episodes of One Piece then had a fever dream last night that I had Luffy's powers and was fighting some of the villains. When I woke up this morning my brain struggled to comprehend that the world government wasn't after me 😂

I've only watched it once when I was like 13. Ngl the bits I enjoyed and found most memorable about it are the bits you said are good, and I largely don't remember the rest. I suspect to me at the time it had hype enough moments to cover for its lack of substance

Kid Icarus: Uprising. I pick it up every couple years for the dialogue alone because goddamit the character writing is fucking fantastic and I want this series to get more games
