The cats are VERY happy to have me back as I woke up being snuggled by both Dumpster and Katness.
Boarded my last plane. Was told there was a maintenance issue with the engine after 10 minutes. Now we're leaving. I rather be on the ground when things go wrong and right now I can't wait to be in NJ with my cats.

Spoons? Low. Tummy? Hangry. I'm gonna need a whole 48 hours to recover from today.
I'm SO thankful that I can at least get to Philly tonight to catch a ride back to my cats.
However, the story I have about today is at this point a 3 part odyssey of shit luck, Karens, and puke (not from me.)

We finally took off, I missed all of my connections.
Which sucks but what sucks more is being stuck near an entire family of Karens on this flight who have been so rude to the staff since I GOT to the airport and to me.
I'm more pissed about that.
It should be all out of here tomorrow. I am absolutely missing all of my connections now sadly.
But if I get to Jersey safe then that's all that matters.
So we're just now getting deiced and we might need more gas.
We had a snow squall, them loading the bags after we almost started to taxi to the runway, another snow squall, and then a mechanical issue.
Better safe than sorry but I'm pretty darn sure I'm going to miss my first connection. ๐ซ
