Switch 2 and 1 owners, we are almost one month away from the release of Metroid Prime 4. This is really important because we, the Metroid fans, need you to show up and prove once and for all there is an appetite for more.

Trust me, easily one of the best franchises in the history of gaming.

Pokemon just proved that it remains one of the biggest franchises in gaming. Despite the vocal criticism, it seems the rough graphics remain largely irrelevant for many. 6 million copies in 7 days.

My take: I want them to improve for Gen 10. Will they have any incentive to do it? I am not sure.

Enjoying Ghost of Yotei? Remember Legends is set to be released on 2026. I can’t even imagine how Sucker Punch improved it to make an already incredible multiplayer mode, into a flawless gaming experience.

Legends was easily one of the best parts of Tsushima and I cannot wait to kill oni!

This is October, which means this is the perfect time to recommend Silent Hill f endlessly. The deeper you get into the game, the more the atmosphere captures you and the feeling of permanent unease won’t go away.

Silent Hill might just be the franchise revival of the decade!

The death of Itagaki is a big loss for the gaming industry. It is sad to see a creative mind leave, but his craft will forever prevail in both Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden. NG 2 was one of my favorite games ever on the Xbox 360. NG4 is definitely on my wishlist.

This needs to be said more in gaming: value has a lot to do with perception and personal preference. The $450 Switch 2, the $999 ROG Xbox Ally X, the $70 video game, the $2,000 PC and the $750 PS5 Pro might feel expensive to you, but that is not necessarily what another gamer will feel 😎

The second season of Peacemaker was one of the best pieces of superhero television I have ever seen. The pace, the characters, the plot twist, the interpretations, the narrative…absolutely mindblowing.

The future of DC is incredibly bright on movies and TV. Let’s do gaming next!

The Batman Arkham games redefined the standard of what a superhero video game should be. Sure, nostalgia can elevate many games from the past, but RockSteady set a bar so high that only Spider-Man has been able to reach that high.

I am truly hopeful for the new upcoming era of Arkham games.

I adore the Luigi’s Mansion franchise!!! It is easy to dismiss it as a kids game, and although it actually does a great job at introducing new young players to console video games, the gameplay itself is a great testament of what simple yet fun means in gaming.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33, my absolute GOTY of 2025, has sold 5 million copies. That is absolutely incredible and very rewarding for a dedicated and small gaming development team. The future for Sandfall looks very bright!!!

On top of that, we are getting new DLC. I love this game!

I know a lot of people are mad at Xbox and Microsoft for pricing Game Pass Ultimate at $30 but what you don’t understand is that by paying that for a full year, you are actually paying homage to the greatest Xbox console to ever exist.

I will see myself out.

One of the best feelings as a gamer is when you discover a franchise you never thought you would like as much as you ended up liking. This has been Dead Rising for me during the last couple of weeks. Top crazy gaming fun from Capcom.

Always keep your mind open to new video games!

Nostalgia time: do gamers remember Viewtiful Joe? This was a gaming franchise that had so much heart and was incredibly fun and unique.

It might be extremely unlikely but it would be amazing if Capcom ever decides to revisit it!

Ghost of Yotei is glowing with incredible reviews! Sitting at an 89 on Open Critic, the general consensus seems to be that Sucker Punch took a great gaming formula and elevated it to the next level.

A new PS5 must have in your library. Make sure to get it! I already have my copy locked in.

The GOTY conversation keeps getting more complex with new strong contenders getting released. Hades 2 is the new player in town, who is most likely ready to put a big fight against the likes of Clair Obscur E33, DK Bananza, Silksong, KCD 2, and some others I am probably forgetting.

2025 in gaming 👌🏼

Star Wars movies are back!!! Although The Mandalorian and Grogu still feels like the worst possible title they could have come up with, the trailer and the poster got me incredibly excited!

This is the Star Wars I fell in love with. This is the way.

Silent Hill f reviews are rolling in and they seem to be positive. Silent Hill 2 started it and now f has consolidated the franchise’s comeback. Let’s see if gamers are willing to also make it a commercial success, but in the meantime, it is great to see the big names from Konami making a comeback.

Happy Batman Day. When it comes to gaming Batman has been a blessed superhero. From The Adventures of Batman and Robin (SNES) to the Arkham Trilogy, we have consistently gotten incredible games.

Here’s to many more. In Rocksteady we trust.

I cant say this enough: Peacemaker is a ridiculous amount of fun. James Gunn might be the ultimate superhero writer. The way he makes us care for every random character is incredible.

PS: Eagly is a damn badass.

Honestly, I never thought I would enjoy a Dead Rising game this much. Even after the first couple of hours I kept thinking “this is gonna get old soon”. It never did. The pure definition of simple and fun.

What an incredible gameplay loop. I am happy Capcom decided to bring this game to PS5.

Nintendo Direct in two days!!! Let the unrealistic gaming wishes and expectations begin (including mine 😅). Joking aside, this will mark the new era of Switch 2. Can’t wait to tune in for some exciting reveals.

The next natural step for PlayStation and their multiplatform strategy for live service games is the Nintendo Switch 2. Helldivers 2 feels like a perfect fit.

Arrowhead and PlayStation Studios, make it happen. I bet Switch 2 users are eager to defend democracy.

Today is a celebration day for gaming. It doesn’t matter if you are a Hollow Knight fan or not, Silksong marks the release of one of the most anticipated games ever.

My random gaming thought of the day: Uncharted The Lost Legacy was severely underrated. Chloe and Nadine were incredible characters, India was a beautiful place to explore and the gameplay and story were S-Tier Uncharted. One of the best PlayStation games.

The perks of this new gaming era where more gates are open and console wars fade away: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on my PS5. I am happy I am able to play Machinegames video games on PlayStation!

Gamers, console wars are over. They belong to the past. What’s cool right now is to play wherever you prefer and cheer for the studios developing the games you love the most. We are fortunate to live through this era of gaming and we shouldn’t take it for granted.
