That is fantastic! Can you share what they finally figured out and if they can help you? I know you have been through way way way too much the past few years.

Of course there is a heat wave and the AC decided to die overnight. *sigh*. They can get to me in a week. Yay? I won't die or anything but it certainly is not optimal. Compressor unit outside won't turn on at all despite thermostat thinking it is on and turning on the blower motor for the fan.

I had a lot of friends like you who did not learn smart grocery shopping for sales/bulk, home cooking using what you find on sale, stretching left overs, making soups - from parents. A LOT of people benefit from some basic tips and education. It does not hurt anything to share info, at any rate.

I feel like if I want to be fashionable, I can just go shopping in my clothing bins in the basement. I have most of my HS 80's/90's/College 90s/2000 clothes still. I just have to go find whatever is trendy now. Bizarre to see things again.

There is nobody upholding the law anymore. Legal or not, they WILL do it and will threaten to destroy anyone who gets in their way, like the law firms they are already grinding under their boot heels. They will not obey laws, judges, or policies. Nobody will make them. Except the people. Us...

These projects really help with the massive anxiety and panic issues I am having. At least I can direct it as something I can control and feel productive with. The current state of THINGS terrifies me - but I will not give up. May we all fight as best we can! <3 you my friends.

In non-political news I have been working hard on renovations in a 1947 cinderblock and stucco post WW2 house. Bathroom linen closet. Patched, caulked, painted, wallpapered, repaired, and ready for another 50 years of service I hope! I keep learning so much each project I do! +1 to all skills

Ummm... His pupils look HUGE and abnormal. His ear also does not appear to have been hit by anything, much less a high velocity bullet. I see no scaring or missing cartilage that might be expected from an injury.

NGL, the 2 channels that seem to run all Bones, CSI, Law & Order, etc - very pleased with that. Might actually watch some. Now to just finish getting the office/spare room set up for use.

So, I have an old small digital TV and an antenna to go with it. In the past I could get no reception on it at all. I live in a faraday cage. On a whim, I took it upstairs today and tried it in the office. I have something like 7 channels! Including one basic network channel with nightly news stuff

Happy New Year everyone! Hoping we all stay safe. Take care of each other! I sort of think of the year turning at Solstice because the days get longer - which I can certainly appreciate. Spent it quietly at home, like normal except the darn fireworks. Also baked bread. A loaf I made a bit ago.

Sadly the mainstream media won't have this front and center, if they cover it at all. They cover the tabloid sensational gossip, but not the factual follow through.
