Installed a Flippy Drive in my friends GameCube. But I'm going to be holding onto it until he needs it back.

I managed to roll the credits and managed to do some of the post game quests. I'll probably pick this up when it comes to events, but for now I've had my fill. Great game. 8/10

story could've had more potential and was never really followed up with a 3rd entry/sequel til now. Some complaints I have are that the Lumiose City can feel a boring to explore as there isn't much variety to the setting. Most side quests were repetitive, but there were still some standouts.

Pokemon Legends Z-A (Switch 2) - I really like how experimental the Legends series is compared to the mainline entries. The new battle system isn't perfect, but it's fun to poke around with and see what moves synergize well with others. The story is great and feels much needed since the X and Y-

Do regular people not know gaming isn't just multiplayer focused? It's happened quite often where I'll tell someone I spent my night getting sucked into a really good single player game, and they'll look at me like "you play by yourself?" Yeah dude, not everything experience needs to be shared.

Personally, I think we should be even more disrespectful to the Kanto starters.

Dragon Quest 1 and 2 aren't supposed to be long games right? Wondering if I can fit the HD-2D remakes in my schedule next month.

I'm going to guess that the DLC is going to have some big Hoenn connections and introduce some new Mega evos from that region.

*Spoilers* for Legends Z-A but it seems the Hoenn starters aren't available in the base game. Weird since every other Mega evolution besides legendaries are obtainable. It's also strange that there aren't any new Hoenn Megas when every other region (excluding Paldea) got one.

Rolled credits in Legends Z-A. Just wow. For all the crap I give Game Freak, they can make great stories when given the opportunities.

Is there no link cable item in Z-A like there was in Arceus to make certain Pokemon evolve? Why does Game Freak do this? For every new QoL feature added, they always seem to take two steps back.

A friend told me Pokemon games are too easy now since EXP share can't be turned off. I don't completely disagree with what he said, but I also told him you don't have to stick with a fixed party throughout the game. I've begun switching my party out if one of my mons was getting too strong.

I might have to just hold off on these till the end game because trying to do them whenever a new one pops up kills the pacing of the game for me. I'm just a bit OCD with finishing them because I don't like seeing these markers on the map, and works rather get them out the way first.

I think some of these side quests in Legends Z-A are pretty bad. There are a handful of interesting ones, but most of them boil down to teaching you about battle mechanics. I'm 20ish hours into the game, I don't need to know how Detect is slightly different from Protect.

The day and night cycle in Legends Z-A can be really annoying. I've had the time change on me like 5 times when I'm in the middle of catching a Pokemon. And in those cases some of those mons were rare spawns.

They listed like 10+ games and said they ranged from dull to just being okay. I think this guy just doesn't like RPGs.

It just feels a lot like health goes down a lot faster in this game since battles are in real time. It's also helped me with taking down strong mons when I didn't have the type advantage.

Toxic feels so OP in Legends Z-A. As long as the opponent isn't Steel type or uses Safeguard, you can essentially win any tough fight if you stall the fight.

Is that it's butthole?

Thankfully, it isn't too much of a grind to get to Rank K for online matches. My team was barely optimized and I still managed to get the reward within two nights. But I do think it's still gross these limited time rewards that are locked to a mode that requires a NSO subscription.
