the art style itself is neat but tech brutalism is by design very sterile, so unless the environment is really dirtied up in an apocalyptic/overgrown sense it looks 'too pristine'.

but being able to also ask how someone is doing in a genuine manner is really good. I like to hear when people tackle their life problems. Its not about prying into personal things because obviously boundaries, but no one is 'just good' all the time either. Idk, feels wooden more often than not

it depends, because its a balance ground between striking authentic conversation with people vs opportunity to be both a good listener and someone who can feel comfortable just talking. Its also nice when talking doesn't involve having to cut through a persona to do it.

id say its obvious when its truly transactional, the demeanor has something very different than someone just trying to say hi or being conversational, usually with convo derailing into wanting something unnaturally quick.
