The new policy brief 'Restricting less healthy foods in retail environments: Evidence-based recommendations for policy impact' summarises this research on the impact of legislation on sales of foods high in fat, sugar or salt.

Research has found legislation to restrict supermarket sales of foods high in fat, sugar or salt (HFSS) has led to around 2 million fewer HFSS items sold per day in England.
The research team have put forward 8 recommendations to policymakers based on the results.
