I’ve been rewatching Death Note recently. It’s nice to revisit it with new eyes since I was a much younger person when I last watched it. My (possibly) hot take is Light and L both suck ass actually.

As a MASSIVE theorist myself, when I approach a new story, I always remind myself that I am not the writer. I may recognize tones, themes, symbolisms, and directions, but I am not the one who paved the road or decorated the sidewalks.

My theories are mine and it's okay if they're wrong.

I am so beyond excited to see how the story plays out after last episode.

Has anyone noticed how in those shitty AI ads how the “people” in them always have mouths that open unnaturally wide? That’s always my biggest tell. I always see people talk about hands or lighting, but for me it’s the mouths.

I like the starter designs, the region design looks really cool, and it’s not coming out until next year meaning GF is letting the game cook to completion hopefully.

Oh man what a wonderfully dark read. I have so much that I could say about this story, but in the name of time (and character limits) I’ll say that there’s a message here of hope, of the unbreakable human spirit. It spoke to me in a way I wasn’t expecting. I’m so glad I read it.
