I was lucky enough to get to see Oasis twice this summer, once on the opening night in Cardiff and then Sunday night in New Jersey with my 11-year-old son.

I remember being 17 years old and going to Ozzfest 2001 at Blossom to see, among others, the reunited Black Sabbath. Ozzy seemed otherworldly, like someone who wasn't on the same earthly plane as the rest of us.

So glad I got to see that show. Sad day today.
