next time i post on this app, it'll be for new music, i promise. i gotta hold myself to this.

i'm just blissfully ignoring that idea and letting my music taste shift to this new direction

my perspective on music is changing a lot, so at some point i gotta revisit these two and see if this take still holds up. the new danny brown in combo with that awful taylor swift album serve as a capstone to a music shift in my head that i've been going through since like July

if i become a successful musician, it is in SPITE of Fort Wayne and not because of it.

you would think we'd at least have a handful, because of sweetwater being here, but no. we don't. we've got like, a few minor people and to some extent that's a stretch.

fort wayne's music scene is cool and legit, but like we have almost no presence, none of our bands blow up or go big. this city is a vacuum of culture lol. people from here aren't superstars. we're niche AT BEST. it's in the city's DNA.

The CEO of Bluesky is craven and evil. The only people that build these platforms are infected with the self-reproducing moral rot of capitalism. They have no sense of duty or stewardship. They see their monetary reward as a cleansing justification for their actions.

folklore made me a swiftie, i listened to it during the time between Evermore and Midnights, and like. it got me. i still standby both of those albums, Evermore and Folklore, even if they're a bit basic.

but like. every album since evermore has kind of sucked lets be honest.
