If you continue to support the Harry Potter franchise in any way, you are directly funding the removal of trans people's human rights in the UK.

So a bloke who clearly never even sets foot in the area with these ponds, talking over the women who actually do use them who have made clear they don't want a ban, cos it's all just an abstract exercise for you to stroke your ego and feel some sense of domination. Great stuff.

Presumably that's down to whether MOU being the data controller for financial donations covers it or not, but I imagine they weren't expecting Corbyn etc to claim it was some scam in the first place. Them doing so is what's made it terminal.

I think the very fall-out itself shows it was ultimately worth doing. The weeks of folk suggesting that progressives would just dominate the dinosaurs once the party got going was very clearly for the birds and if the party is a non-starter now, at least no more time is wasted on wishes.

It seems it was a last-ditch attempt to avoid being totally frozen out, and actually sticking to what had originally been agreed, so it's not *that* mad. The 'data breach' thing is only a potential issue precisely because of the agreement that had been struck.

A bit more intricate than that - it had been agreed that the "Zarah faction" would handle the finances and "Corbyn faction" the mailing list data. There were apparently imminent moves to launch the membership with money going to Peace & Justice (Corbyn faction) so she pre-empted it.

Team Zarah all the way and yes, she should probably just join the Greens at this point.
