Homeless people are not the enemy.

They can’t “just try harder” their way into housing.

It’s the system that’s failing.

Most of us are one emergency away from being homeless ourselves.

We need affordable housing, universal basic income, healthcare & social supports.

We need a safety net

Never underestimate the corrupt things a government will do—such as letting a dangerous virus run rampant while convincing everyone it’s harmless or just a cold. #COVID

Let's hope that that party has still a possibility of redemption, and that she is honest. For what I have seen of her, she seems to be honest. But I'm becoming very skeptical.

But a politician running for dems might be a bit like a trap, maybe a sellout, as we have seen many of them for many years and a myriad of times. Will the dems allow anyone to put in question the status quo? What has been the official stance of the dem party regarding the genocide?

It's not like the US had a functioning public health system prior to 2025, but the fact that RFK has managed to make things significantly worse, to the point where preventable diseases are tearing through the population and we have no accessible data on anything is an absolute disaster.

He's the perfect token black man of a fascist party.

I don't know. I know for instance a black man who is the leader of the far right party in Catalunya. He can say what he wants, but he's defending racism against black people, being a black person.

I scream infamy on fascists. And if they perish - whatever the way -, I'm not gonna feign any sympathy ever, because I feel rage against them.

I can't stomach the whitewashing and "sentimentality" of journalists who praise "civility" while bothsidesing horror-discourse. A discourse that praise racism, enslavement, sexism, and all forms of fascist tyranny. The ones uttering it are protected, their targeted victims are shamed into silence.

I wouldn't ever rely on nasal sprays. Only as an added layer of protection. Respirators are the key to stop onward transmission. Nasal sprays will only add some protection to that necessary protection.
