This is a really cool project! github.com/bradleygolde...
Think of it like a Quickstart for working with claude code and Elixir projects, that leans on all the conventions we've been working on like tidewave & usage rules.

Totally feel you... I keep trying too, but Twitter pulls me back. I think the big issue is Bluesky hasn't hit the tipping point yet. If more key people like you made the jump _at the same time_, I think the rest would follow. Right now it's hard not to bounce back when things feel too quiet here.

30.06.2025 14:36 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0We are looking for an #elixirlang / #rubylang lead developer in Bochum / the Ruhr area. If you love building great software instead of managing bullshit tickets, know how to work with clients and how to make sure your team grows, let's chat!
30.06.2025 14:36 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0As AI redefines software development, this post by @ichimnetz.com stands out; tracing how automation shifts value from craft to concept, from 19th-century painting to todayβs programming. Appreciate he draws thoughtful parallels without pretending to predict where it all leads.
27.06.2025 07:28 β π 1 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0#ElixirConf 2025 was absolutely wonderful. First one since 2017, and the community is still just as great, lovely, and open. Tons of inspiring talks and conversations, canβt wait to try Ash AI! See you at the next one, hopefully not in another 7 years.

13.05.2025 09:34 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you need your LLM to follow instructions better, try GPT-4.1. Iβm building a chatbot with more complex behavior and struggled to get 4o to follow instructions properly. Switching to 4.1 fixed it, even without gimmicky styles to signal what's important.

01.03.2025 05:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So, I decided to visualize it and asked Cursor to quickly generate a page to illustrate the idea. It didnβt disappoint - and it was faster than I could have explained with my less-than-perfect drawing skills.

A digital interface displays a βWeekdaysβ calendar with a colorful and playful design. The top section includes a row of buttons representing days of the week, each paired with an emoji (e.g., a moon for Monday, fire for Tuesday, water drop for Wednesday). Below, a number input with plus and minus buttons allows for selecting a numerical value, currently set to 15. The lower section presents a calendar-like grid with labeled weekdays and corresponding numbers. Some days are highlighted in different colors, such as Friday (yellow) and Saturday (pink). An arrow and emojis (a sprout and a rainbow) suggest a transformation or mapping concept. The overall aesthetic features soft purple tones with bold, rounded typography.
This morning, I talked with my daughter about weekdays - specifically, what day it will be after a given number of days. I explained that adding multiples of seven doesnβt change the weekday, only the remainder matters. Not the easiest concept for a four-year-old.
28.02.2025 13:10 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yesterday, I released a tiny MCP server that allows Cursor Editor to get up-to-date version information for external Hex dependencies. Someone suggested doing a version for #RubyOnRails, so I built a more generic version that supports Ruby Gems, Hex, PyPI, and NPM.

I am currently using Cursor to build a #elixirlang #phoenix application. It kept adding outdated package versions, so I decided to build an MCP server to solve this issue. If you are experiencing the same problem, give it a try:
