I'm a-okay with the pacing of Stargaze.
The gaps are gold for us filler fic writers. We're rich!
I do think Vash's endgame was to be taken for two reasons:
the first being to get himself away from Home and protect his friends and family. Every attack on Home has been because he's the target.
the second reason is because I believe Vash wants to go to Knives and handle the conflict on his own.
