Now that my enthusiasm for my recent work melted away like a raccoon washing cotton candy, I’m back in the studio doing my thing.
Effed up times call for some effed up music and after today’s studio session, it appears I’m on the case.

Once again reminding folks to be careful about what blocking lists you subscribe to. While there are some well-run ones, I have also noticed an increase in this function being used maliciously to mislabel accounts in an attempt to limit their reach. Recommend vetting lists carefully before using.

Over subsequent listens, it felt like the quartet had lost a lot of its energy along the way. In today’s studio session I went back in and goosed things a bit. Denying myself weird samples and synthesizers has made this piece quite challenging but it’s invigorating when it works. ☺️

I find something very compelling about the original colors myself.

I used bus exciter and bus peak to master a current project and it sounds so much better than the Izotope stuff.

Good morning! It’s taking a few to get going

I grabbed this collection this week and I’m already getting a lot out of it. Arturia’s intro sale prices are usually quite good. If you already own some of their stuff you can save even more. They also have a generous policy on demos to check stuff out.

Needless to say I’m a fan 😅

I just picked these up and… wow. I’m just scratching the surface but I can see I’m going to really enjoy using these.

Today’s studio session I took some time out from worrying about snow removal and pretty much finished my string quartet. Just needs some tweaks.

Debating publishing the sheet music for this one since it’s all playable by humans 🤔

I haven’t seen it since I was a teenager (ie, I saw it in the theatre 🤣). I do remember it was kind of psychedelic. The images of the orcs stuck with me a long time.

Hard to measure locally with all the drifting but the consensus here is 32-33”. A Rhode Island record! Wheee! 😂
