Thankfully, while America is in disarray because it is run by a decrepit rapist and pedophile in obvious cognitive decline, Israel has been clear about its objective: the destruction of Iran, a country of 90 million people. They are openly pushing a fantasy of "balkanising" Iran, carving it up into smaller and easier to dominate pieces. This is an apartheid regime run by pathological liars—every single week for the past two years they have lied openly and on the record-invested in a racist colonial feverdream of white supremacist domination over the "savage" indigenous populations. They have slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, and violate international law as often and as easily as the rest of us breathe, and they are still referred to as a "friend", a partner, etc., while Iran is characterised only as a “brutal regime". In sum, America, having utterly failed to provide a legal basis for its illegal violence and having failed to achieve anything of actual value, is pursuing a white supremacist Christian crusade as its rationale, and Israel is happily riding the wave. The question remains: why the hell is Australia backing this racist, colonial barbarity?

They went from “we’re freeing the people of Iran” to “shit, ah, we need to get rid of their missile stock and the navy” to “this is part of God’s plan to resurrect Christ and bring about the End” super fast. Meanwhile just a couple days” went to “3-4 weeks” and now to “September?”

The NCO's complaint was filed on behalf of 15 troops, including 11 Christians, one Muslim, and one Jewish person.

I don’t know if you have been paying attention but the US has effectively gone full Christian Crusades on this war - it is explicitly religious, racist, and malignant, and not a single journalist in Australia has questioned our politicians about backing this war in light of this.

Marco Rubio claimed that the US had to do it, because Israel was going to attack without them, and that would lead to retribution against US assets, so in order to defend themselves against a future defensive action from Iran, the US had to attack first. Yes, it really is that stupid.

Unfortunately, sometimes writing down what’s happening and what’s being said makes you feel insane. This is one such occasion.

In my initial reaction, while ridiculing Wong's absurd statements, I also noted that it was highly unlikely that she was telling the truth about having no intelligence about the strikes, or being uninvolved in them, as a member of the Five Eyes alliance, and knowing as we all do about Pine Gap. I’m aware that it’s a lot, but the speed of news at the moment is such that it’s important to slow down and lay out the various pieces so the full picture can emerge. And when you do, you realise the degree of bullshit we’re being fed by a craven and frankly evil elites in politics and the media.
