BBC Scotland story on Joani Reid and husband.
Now down to 7th story.
No update for 16 hours.
No interviews with Reid.
No reporting of her ‘interesting’ company accounts👇
How did she earn £310k in one year?
Why did she lie about husband David Taylor giving
her £23k?

Westminster corruption exposed!

Compare & contrast

1. Spying for a hostile foreign power

2. Embezzlement of internal party funds

Which investigation got 24 hour coverage for weeks, blue tent in the garden, still in the new months later?
Which was mostly ignored by media & will be quietly buried?

WAR CRIME BY THE US.

An unarmed Iranian ship was takIng part in an Indian naval exercise, alongside the US.

The US withdrew and torpedoed the Iranian ship.

THEN the US refused to rescue the sailors, letting them drown.

This is treachery, cowardice, cruelty and a war crime of the highest order.

The IRIS Dena was a sitting duck. The US filmed a "quiet death" by torpedo for the news, then looked away. It took Sri Lanka—a nation with modest vessels but a true moral compass—to pull the screaming from the oil. 87 dead, 32 saved, 60 lost to the deep. No glory in a victory without a conscience.

USA needs to retreat in on itself and stay the fuck out of world affairs. They've turned into a country led by morons voted in by morons and are proving to be world leaders in absurdity.

The BBC’s odd indy poll, more polls, and BBC Scotland’s double standards There are some very odd things going on with the BBC’s Savanta poll on Scottish independence. An analysis of the polling data by Independent Voices, @indyvoices.bsky.social on BlueSky, also p…

@indyvoices.bsky.social I've used your graph of Yes to No highlighting the abnormal figures in the Savanta poll in my latest blog piece. I credited you for it and included a link to your BlueSky profile.

Does anyone remember that during the Brexit campaign, one of Nigel Farage’s arguments for leaving the European Union was to allow the UK to adopt a fairer immigration system for Commonwealth citizens?

Now he’s saying they shouldn’t be allowed to vote proving yet again the sort of country he wants.

If I was @zackpolanski.bsky.social, I would be pointing out to the BBC that whatever model they use to justify giving Farage & his boot-lickers season tickets for every BBC show under the sun must surely now treat Green Party politicians in exactly the same way. Might even be one for the lawyers...

Bert & Ernie - not found in the Epstein files.

Bert & Ernie - not found in the Epstein files.

So, a cowardly draft dodger, who will fight to the last drop of American blood as long as it's not his own or his odious offspring, thinks he can distract people from the Epstein revelations.

Interesting, James Cook on GMS carefully explains how various papers are biased against Labour hence their negative take on Trumps remarks re Keir Starmer. I wonder if this apparently new understanding of press bias will now extend to pointing out the flaws in SNP bad stories?

1908: the Lancet, one of the most respected scientific journals, calls for 18 age limit on reading in bed amidst a moral panic surrounding children becoming "addicted" to novels, which were "designed to keep kids hooked" and destroy their attention/mental health

If you live there, in the bubble, you don’t see the Sharia law in action. It barely touches the lives of Westerners.

By that time SNP and PC devolved govts will have been in place for 3 years. In Scotland there is very likely to be an independence supporting majority. In NI demands for a unification referendum will loud and clear.

Whoever “wins” will face unprecedented constitutional pressures, as well.

Bin Zayed is a dictator. If he decides he’s better off in, then he’s in.

If it’s better for him personally to stay out, he’s out.

People and scholars won’t come into it. He’ll find a scholar to write a justification.

And so does Heather and Maggie.

And me.

And I’ll be out canvassing and chapping doors again.

I’m not looking for anybody’s approval.

Been happy since 2021 with Joe Fitzpatrick and Maggie Chapman.

Will be voting for Heather and Maggie in May.

There is no question of Iran’s brutal regime. But the problem is with those trying to topple it. The countries two leaders could be in prison if not in power. Many no longer believe a word Trump says, and others including scholars and legal experts believe Netanyahu is responsible for a genocide.

03.03.2026 21:57 — 👍 160    🔁 31    💬 3    📌 0

But Trump himself has made that more likely.

By not even pretending to follow international law, he enables others.

So, in launching a huge bombing campaign on Iran they apparently didn't plan for:

- Who takes over;
- Interceptor shortages from sustained drone retaliation;
- How to defend US bases in the region;
- Threats to ships in the Strait of Hormuz; and
- How to evacuate Americans with airspace closed.

I’m not “advocating”. I’m telling you what canvassers are finding on the doorstep.

I know how I’m going to vote. And I have reasons for voting Green on the list. And it’s not gaming D’Hondt.

I’m sick of SNp simply tweaking neoliberal economic policies. Feet to the fire.

Not BBC, actual chapping on the door. The constituency vote might get as high as 35-37%, but the list vote is not getting much over 30%.

There is no repeat of the 2011 vote.

We’ll do well in constituencies, aided by Reform further splitting unionist vote. But that will mean bugger all in list.
