I started playing ACNH again lately and I was hoping to use the slumber island feature to make the leuca/melly island I started ages ago more easily

but then I realised you can’t have more than 1 player house and you can’t share them like dream islands :(

this one took just over a month because I was really pushing to get done sooner

but if I'm not spending every spare moment of my time knitting, it usually takes 1.5 to 2 months depending on the size I want to make

After making this shawl 4 times I think I've definitely gotten my money's worth from this pattern I bought lol

I realised after I bought it that the designer lives in the same city as me, so extra points for supporting local artists

Had to buy 2 x 200g skeins of cotton yarn for this one. I was pretty happy with it until I found 2 factory knots in the second skein... So there are some lumpy parts where I had to cut and rejoin the yarn, but it's only noticeable if you look real close.

Out of the 3 I made previously, the blue one was by far my favourite. The size of it was perfect to sit on my shoulders without falling. And while merino is so luxurious and soft, the cotton just draped so much more nicely (even if it was an acrylic blend)

was looking through my xiv comic folder out of curiosity and this gets me every time

anytime I mention that something is too expensive/excessive, mum's reply is always "you only have one wedding in this lifetime"

I'm not totally stressed out what are you talking about

I'm at the stage of wedding planning where it's like:

- everything feels like monopoly money
- names... what are your names...!!!
- I didn't know that was something you could choose
- NAMES!!! GIVE ME YOUR NAMES!!!
- "Hi I'm just chasing up RSVPs at the moment :) :) :)"
