I preferred the remake

This was the film Iron Lung. It's based on an isolation horror game and much of it felt like watching a playthrough of said game. The success of the film is a big win for indie filmmaking, but it was aggressively not for me.

It's a bad sign when a movie character says, "What the hell is the point? I just want to go home." and you feel the same way.

I remember that moment in time where it seemed like Quance and Frantz were the next big things.

I'm kind of shocked how many horror fans don't seem to know or remember the Camp Miasma film series.

As much as I enjoy Alone (reality survival competition), the contestant motivations are all too samey. It's always "I want to win this for my family" and never "I want to learn to punish those who fail my city."

I got selected for a local production and suffered absolute brain freeze over the word "ewe." I'm still not over it. 😭
