If anything, this causes GREAT candidates to decide they aren't meant to raise their voice and run for politics. Again, MANY YOUNG WOMEN who are progressive and advocates took the risk of running in heavily Conservative areas. How dare you belittle their intelligence and dedication?

Anyone want to mention NOBs in St. John's for the PCs? Anyone want to take about the history of NOBs with all parties in this province? No, you'd rather attack these brave candidates, many who live or have lived in their districts for years, and say they are nothing. Pathetic and vile.

Trying to keep my mouth shut about people talking about NDP candidates being all "NOBs" is so hard. I met so many LOCAL candidates, many young women taking a big leap to decide to run an ACTUAL CAMPAIGN in their rural districts, and I am furious on their behalf to be labeled as such.

This is exactly how I feel. I won't sanitize Kirk's politics, because calling it simple politics or an opinion is a far cry from the amount of hurt and violence he has caused to those against him.

However, we can't condone political violence, or violence at all. This does nothing to help.

Charlie Kirk was just shot and killed.

This moment is horrifying in several ways. Political violence is always wrong.

His murder is also already being used among bad actors to fan the flames of further division, hatred and violence.
