I just released a new album call Legacy Contaminants, right on time for bandcamp friday. It's inspired by the huge industrial spill that happened in my hometown about 20 years ago.

today I started a new side project

Basically the smaller an object it the less accurate the reflection is going to be when trying to display that object. But again with enough distortion you wont really notice unless you look for it

A fun optimization hack for planar reflections like these is that you can render them at 1/4th the size and it'll be unnoticeable under all the distortion. I got settings for rendering the reflections at 1/8th and 1/16th and they both work fine but you introduce some "popping"

Got proper reflections working! Last step is to make them jiggle with the waves, after that we're golden

Noticing a very fun thing bluesky will do which is changing the volume of videos for you without asking...

It's an honor and a privilege!

And it's also huge for me that this is by far the most experimental I've gone with my music. Before this I mostly wrote ambient / chill music but always wanted to go into something darker and cerebral. Glad I got the chance to with this project ❤️

Still a little surreal to have this out in physical format. So proud of this release and for everyone at Wrong Organ, Fangamer and all fans of the game who made this possible! Thank you all so much!!
